What would it have killed the guy to make a simple phone call? The alternative was to wait a day or two to see if maybe we could catch another flight to Rome with our luggage. When we asked the supervisor to tell the people in luggage claim to forward our luggage to Rome when we were in Chicago (because of course the connecting flight only gave us 40 minutes to get to our flight to Rome so we didn't have enoughtrime to check our bags a second time), he said no. On top of that they forgot to add the tags for Rome on our luggage so they got stuck in a connecting flight in Chicago.
