![]() ![]() This contains the most up-to-date categories used in Spectrasonics Factory Patch Libraries. *If you plan to create a new Patch Library, a good starting point is to unzip the “Current Categories.zip” file. NOTE: When you rename or create new folders at the top level, you must re-instantiate Trilian, then select the Refresh button in order for them to appear in Trilian’s Browser. When you create a new folder at the top level (alongside the User folder), it will show up in the DIRECTORIES drop-down menu in the respective Browser You can create additional folders at those locations and name them whatever you like. ![]() The default save location for Multis is inside a folder named “User” located here: /STEAM/Trilian/Settings Library/Multis/User The default save location for Patches is inside a folder named “User” located here: /STEAM/Trilian/Settings Library/Patches/User ![]() This makes it easy to manage your custom Patch and Multi Libraries by organizing them in a way that makes sense to you. User-created Patches or Multis are managed using your computer’s built-in file manager (either the Mac Finder, or the Windows Explorer). The Browsers are designed to handle all aspects of searching, browsing, and loading sounds. NOTE: There are certain text characters that are OS-prohibited and if included in a Patch Name will cause problems when searching. There is no need to press the “Refresh” button in the Full Browser after saving a new Patch or Multi. This folder can be in an existing user directory, a newly created sub-folder inside the User folder, or a new user directory. NOTE: Patches and Multis must be saved into a Category folder inside a user Patch Library -you cannot save at the User folder level itself. You can cancel the save process by clicking CANCEL. Once you have finished editing the tags, click SAVE. After naming and saving the Patch or Multi, the EDIT TAGS interface will open, letting you assign various Attribute Types and Assignments, custom Assignments, and add your own Keywords and Notes to the file. Trilian 1.Selecting the Save Patch (or Save Multi) option from the Utility Menu will open a File Save dialogue. Trilian 1.5 also features a new Hi-res Resizable User Interface, a New Mini-Browser and New Full Browser, innovative production/browsing features like Sound Match™ to instantly locate any related sounds in the library and Sound Lock™ to create endless useful patch variations by locking sound aspects while browsing other patches. The new patches offer an extremely wide variety of incredible sounds for modern music producers. Trilian's richly detailed bass sounds can be dramatically transformed using Omnisphere's deep synthesis capabilities. The new library features a tremendous variety of patches to showcase the power of combining Trilian and Omnisphere 2. The 1.5 update also includes the new "Trilian Creative" library, a cutting-edge collection of Omnisphere patches specially designed for users who also have Trilian. Trilian 1.5 features a newly expanded sound library with over 200 brand new patches produced by Eric Persing and the acclaimed Spectrasonics Sound Development team. Full FX Modulation, double the amount of Mod Matrix slots and new modulation sources have been added for even more sonic control. Many New Filter Types, Enhanced FM, Ring Modulation, Doubled Harmonia Voices and Polyphonic Waveshaping have been added for extra tonal shaping capabilities. Trilian 1.5 includes synthesis features which have been greatly expanded. Best of all, Trilian 1.5 can now capture the MIDI data of the arpeggiator as a standard MIDI file, which can be dragged to any DAW for further editing! Also included is a new Arpeggiator Preset Library that showcases all the creative possibilities. The many innovations include inspiring new Pattern Modes, Step Dividers, Pitch Slides and the unique ability to have altered Chord Voicings and Chord Inversions per step. Trilian's renowned Arpeggiator has received a major update in v1.5 with all new creative tools, making it one of the most flexible arpeggiators ever. You can also log into your Spectrasonics user account to manually download updates. ![]() Open Trilian in your DAW (or standalone) and simply use the "Get Updates" feature on Trilian's splash page. This free update also includes a new "Trilian Creative" library for users that also own Omnisphere.
